Ingredients
- 250ml red wine
- 2 tangerines (one peeled, one juiced)
- 2 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- star anise
- 1 tbsp honey
Method
- In a medium saucepan heat wine with spices. Add tangerine juice and a whole peeled tangerine. Cook until it starts steaming, then remove from the heat.
- Take out all the spices, add honey, mix until it dissolves, and transfer the drink to the mug.
- Serve with whole tangerine, cinnamon stick and star anise
Here’s a mulled wine with a twist – add some tangerine juice to the classic recipe for a more citrusy flavour. 🙂
